Background:
This is a project I did for my Graphic Design course at Parsons. Here I used nine black and white 3×3 inches paper cuts from the newspaper, magazine, or other periodicals to make a 9×9 inches square collage. The purpose was to observe and understand the points below-
- Arrangements, placement
- Rhythm and flow, movement
- The techniques of typography, size form, and texture
- Shades of grey, the scale of color/white to black
One of the colleges is based on images while the other is only texts.
