An Abstract Space

This is a project I did for my Painting course at York University. Here I learned about space and practiced expression to define and break those definitions.

There are seven classic elements of art: line, shape, form, space, texture value color. Space refers to the distances or areas around, between, and within components of a piece. Space can be positive or negative, open or closed, shallow or deep, and two-dimensional or three-dimensional, real or abstract. Sometimes space isn’t necessarily presented, but the illusion of it is.
